23.09.2020 Der am 19. Juni 1928 in Belleville (New Jersey) geborene US-amerikanische Rock- und Pop-Musiker und -Sänger Tommy DeVito ist am 21. September 2020 in Las Vegas (Nevada) gestorben. Er war Gründungsmitglied, Sänger und Leadgitarrist der ab 1962 äusserst populären Band The Four Seasons, die ganze Serien von Hits wie "Sherry" oder "Oh, What a Night" produzierte. Das Musical "Jersey Boys" von 2005 erzählt die Bandgeschichte und war ein weltweiter Erfolg; 2013 wurde es von Clint Eastwood verfilmt. Die Band wurde 1990 in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen.
