13.03.2022 Der am 20. März 1950 in Washington (D.C.) geborene US-amerikanische Schauspieler William Hurt (Bild) ist am 13. März 2022 in Portland (Oregon) gestorben. Er feierte insbesondere in den 1980er-Jahren grössere Filmerfolge und wurde 1986 für "Kiss of the Spider Woman" mit dem Oscar als Bester Hauptdarsteller ausgezeichnet. Trotz aller Filmerfolge blieb Hurt immer dem Theater treu. Dabei feierte er Erfolge auch bei Off-Broadway-Aufführungen, etwa in der Hauptrolle in "My Life" mit Christopher Reeve in einer Nebenrolle.
