21.01.2022 Der am 27. September 1947 als Marvin Lee Aday in Dallas (Texas) geborene US-amerikanische Rock-Sänger und Schauspieler Meat Loaf (englisch für Hackbraten) ist am 20. Januar 2022 gestorben. Er war bekannt für seine kraftvollen und theatralischen Konzertauftritte. In seiner über sechs Jahrzehnte währenden Karriere wurden seine Alben mehr als 100 Millionen Mal verkauft. Darüber hinaus wirkte er in über 65 Filmen mit.* 1993 wurde Meat Loaf für seinen wohl berühmtesten Song "I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)" mit einem Grammy ausgezeichnet.
