Sam Rivers ist gestorben

27.12.2011 Der US-amerikanische Jazz-Musiker Sam Rivers (Bild) ist gestern im Alter von 88 Jahren in Orlando, Florida gestorben. Bis letzten Herbst stand Rivers noch auf der Bühne. Der Multiinstrumentalist hatte einen grossen Einfluss auf die jüngere Musiker-Generation, gerade auch in der Schweiz, wo er immer wieder aufgetreten ist (z.B. am Jazzfestival Willisau).
