08.01.2022 Die am 10. November 1929 in New York City geborene US-amerikanische Liedtexterin und Komponistin Marilyn Bergman (Bild) ist am 8. Januar 2022 gestorben. Bergman zählte gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann Alan Bergman zu den angesehensten Songschreibern in den USA. Sie schrieben gemeinsam vor allem Filmmusik.* Sie waren 16 Mal für einen Oscar nominiert. Die erste Nominierung brachte ihnen auch die erste Trophäe ein – für den Song "The Windmills of your Mind" zum Film "Die Thomas Crown Affäre" (1969). Weitere Oscars folgten für den Song "The Way We Were" (1973) aus dem Liebesfilm "So wie wir waren" mit Barbra Streisand und Robert Redford und 1984 für die Liedtexte für den von Streisand inszenierten Film "Yentl".
