21.06.2022 Der 1951/52 geborene US-amerikanische Keyboardspieler, Gitarrist, Bassist, Sänger und Songwriter Brett Tuggle (Bild) ist am 19. Juni 2022 gestorben. Für die Konzerte der Gruppe Fleetwood Mac zwischen 1997 und 2018 stand Brett Tuggle an den Keyboards. Auch bei Soloprojekten der Bandmitglieder war er dabei. Bekannt wurde er zudem durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit David Lee Roth, John Kay & Steppenwolf, Rick Springfield, Steve Lukather, Chris Isaak, Jimmy Page, Mitch Ryder oder Whitesnake.

He spent 20 years on the road with Fleetwood Mac, and also co-wrote the 1988 David Lee Roth hit “Just Like Paradise”.

Brett Tuggle, a keyboardist who spent two solid decades in Fleetwood Mac during their reunion era and also served as a founding member of the David Lee Roth band in the ’80s, died this weekend

“This guy is just a master,” Buckingham said of Tuggle while introducing his band at Washington DC’s Warner Theater on September 14, 2021. “He is a superb keyboardist, bassist, guitarist, singer. And he also brings so much clarity and integrity. There’s no way in the world we could do this [show] without him. We’ve never been able to do it without him, nor could we in the future.”
