08.08.2021 Der am 11. Januar 1971 in Chicago geborene DJ, House-Produzent und Komponist/Songwriter Paul Johnson ist am 4. August 2021 infolge einer Corona-Erkrankung in Evergreen Park (Illinois) gestorben. Weltweite Bekanntheit erlangte er mit seiner Single "Get Get Down" (1999). Er hat zahlreiche kleinere, junge Namen und auch international erfolgreiche Künstler (wie Daft Punk) zu deren musikalischem Wirken inspiriert.
