La qualité du temps, reconnue
12.12.2010 Le Temps vient d’être certifié ISAS BCP 9001, standard international de gestion de la qualité dédié aux médias, par la Fondation Médias & Société.
Le Temps est ainsi le premier média de presse écrite à recevoir cette certification au plan mondial. La qualité, qui a été la pierre angulaire de la création du Temps en 1998, est désormais reconnue par une norme universelle.

Media & Society Foundation, headquarter based in Geneva,
founded by a group of Swiss television, radio and newspaper professionals, has
set a goal to help the media around the world improve their quality. To this
end, it proposes a universal standard of management, ISAS BCP 9001:2010, drawn
from international best practices.
Media certified to this standard have a management tool:
- Which leads them to clarify their business plan, thereby guaranteeing excellent visibility to the public, investors and authorities;
- Which gives them the best chance of economic success and therefore independence;
- Allowing them, finally and above all, ensure the quality of their journalistic output.
In several countries Media companies have taken this step and been certified, including Switzerland, where the most recent certification is the newspaper Le Temps, approved by the Board of the Foundation December 7, 2010.
